This is not “Travel” to awesome places in the travel blog style. Instead, here you’ll find tales from my travels of different periods since graduating from college in 2011. The New Zealand section lists a few more specific destinations, but mostly I just talk about experiences I’ve had while traveling. So far I don’t have the energy to contribute to the already massive world of travel blogs. When I’m on the road, I’m too busy enjoying to want to sit at my computer and document everything!

My travel typically falls between field jobs when I’m conveniently already near a beautiful area. Having the freedom to travel as I please once my positions are “terminated” is one of my favorite perks of fieldwork. It’s allowed me to explore New Zealand, take myself to Hawaii, travel in Canada, take a season off to visit my best friend and travel central Mexico, and wander through Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia.

That’s just an overview of my adventuring, though. I have a pretty bad case of wanderlust.
