My “Thoughts” menu is a bit of a catch-all for writing that’s not so directly related to work or travel adventures. Here’s a very small taste of what may be found in each category – but this is by no means comprehensive.

• Being based – without really living anywhere – in Alaska lends itself to adventures and musings on my life.

 

• Often I’ll write about the stress induced by my Michigan State Spartans, but these sports-themed posts are typically meant to be humorous.

 

• Sometimes I get introspective and stay up far too late as I try to get my thoughts into writing.

 

• Living a seasonal life can be just plain complicated and involve showing up in the right place at the right time, knowing the right people, or being persistent yet flexible.
